Real Techniques Core Collection Review

From the top- Contour Brush, Detailer Brush, Buffing Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush

So this is very long overdue but I did want to use the brushes before I gave a review. So after about 2 weeks of using them I am ready to give my (very positive) review!

The Core Collection contains 4 brushes, a Buffing Brush, a Pointed Foundation Brush, a Contour Brush and finally a Detailer Brush. All 4 of the brushes are really really good and I use them all in my everyday make up routine. I think this is really good because in most collections there is sometimes one product that you just don't use that much. My favourite brush so far is the Buffing Brush. It is suggested to be used for 'full coverage application of Powder and Mineral Foundations'. I have been using it to apply all my foundations! I have experimented with almost every foundation I own and all of them apply beautifully with this brush. It does give quite a full coverage so if you want a lighter coverage use less product that you normally would. I have also used this to apply setting powder and it is great for that as well.

The Contour Brush is for 'delicately applying highlighter', I have used this for applying highlighter and also bronzer when I want to contour. The brush is so soft and feels lovely on your skin. I personally think it applies bronzer better that highlighter for some reason but it is good for both. I have also found that because the brush is quite small it is great for blending concealer under the eyes. The Pointed Foundation Brush is to be used with 'liquid foundation to build custom coverage' I haven't even tried using this with foundation though. The brush is really small and I just don't think it would apply foundation amazingly but what I have been using it for is to apply and blend concealer. The brush is a good size for getting into any creases and tiny areas of your face. Finally the Detailer Brush, now when I first got this I wasn't sure what I was going to use it for. Real Techniques suggests to use it for 'effortlessly conceal problem areas or use with lipstick'. I have found that for me this is a great lip brush. I mostly use it to apply red lipstick and from what I have found so far it is really nice. I will probably try using this as a tiny concealer brush at some point but right now I am just loving it for my lips!!

So overall if you haven't already guessed I LOVE this collection!! The brushes are all great, so soft and also really easy to clean which is super handy! I was already hooked on Real Techniques and this has just made me more addicted than ever, I now can't wait for the release of the make up sponge!! What do you guys use your brushes for? Let me know in the comments!!

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Natural Collection Blush Review

Pink Cloud, Rosey Glow and Peach Melba (Rosey Glow and Peach Melba look slightly more brown in this picture than in real life)

When I think of drugstore make up brands Natural Collection isn't one that jumps out at me but over the last couple of months I have found myself heading over to their stand more and more, mostly for their blushes. I haven't tried a wide variety of their products but the blushes, oh wow they are good!!

I have heard countless people, including Lily Pebbles, talk about Peach Melba, and this was the first blush that I bought from Natural Collection and the one that got me hooked!! I have choosen to talk about my favourite 3, Peach Melba, Rosey Glow and Pink Cloud, all of which are such lovely colours. Before I talk about my individual favourites I will talk about the product itself. The texture of all the blushers are absolutely lovely, they feel almost velvety on the skin and are therefore a pleasure to apply. These are all super pigmented so don't be too heavy

handed with the brush! I would say the staying power of these are no better or worse than the average drugstore brush, it isn't anything great but will stay on for a good 8 or so hours. The finish of these aren't too powdery which is good and they leave a nice natural flush of colour on the cheek.

Pink Cloud, Rosey Glow and Peach Melba
I'm not sure how many different colours Natural Collection do but these 3 are my stand out favourites. Peach Melba is just one of the nicest blushes I own. It leaves a super pretty peachy natural flush of colour. The colour is also really buildable if you want to have a less natural look. Rosey Glow is an almost rose gold colour, which I completely lovely. It has a much more bronzey feel and is great for creating a really bronzed look. I would say this and Peach Melba are very similar but are both super pretty. Finally Pink Cloud is an almost bright barbie pink colour. I tend to go for more peachy or coral toned blushers so this is different to what I am use to but is so pretty. You do have to be quite careful with this one though as it can leave you looking like a child playing with make up if you don't blend it in nicely as it is so bright.

I think these are some of the best drugstore blushers and would really recommend them! What do you think of Natural Collection blushers? And what else from this brand do you like?

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!

Best Of MUA: My Top 5 (and some special mentions)

I am currently having a bit of a love affair with MUA and over the last 6 or so months I have tried so many of their products. With so much MUA knocking around in my make up collection I thought this would be a great brand to do a top 5 products on. This is is no particular order, they are just my top 5! (and then there is a few extra products too whoops!!)

1. Eyeshadows-
Whether it's MUA's palettes, trio's or single shadows you can't go wrong. These are absoloutely amazing! The pigment and colour choice is great and the price tag is even better! The single shadows are £1, the trios £2.50 and the palettes a mere £4!! When I first purchased their eyeshadows I wasn't expecting greatness but I have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality. Some of the shadows can be slightly dodgy in that some are way more pigmented than others but overall they are a really good standard. I have reviewed the Undress Me Too Palette in full if you want to check that out!

2.Pro Brow Kit
This was the first kit I ever bought for my eyebrows and I really really like it. It comes with a dark brown colour (perfect for dark hair), an ashy brown (great for red to blonde hair), a light highlighting colour (I use this on my brow bone) and a setting gel. The brush that it comes with I do not use but it does also come with mini tweezers (always handy) which I have put in my on the go make up bag. I use the ashy brown colour and it is a really good match for my brows. The only negative I have for this is that it does get quite messy, fall out from the powders often goes into the gel which is slight annoying but it isn't to tragic. This comes in at £3.50 which I think is an absolute steal.

The melted lipstick!

3. Lipsticks
When I first caught wind that the MUA lipsticks were only £1 I went slightly crazy and purchased loads and loads. I now have about 8 lipsticks and I have had quite the mixed experience with these! The colour selection is pretty good and normally the pigmentation is pretty good (1 or 2 have been very very sheer) but I have had a few disasters!! First disaster was a melting lipstick in Tenerife and the second was buying which just didn't twist up, to use this one now I have to get a brush and try and fit it into the tube (not always practical . That said these lipsticks are really really good. For £1 don't expect amazing quality but they are really good, the lasting power isn't great though so make sure you have one in your make up bag at all times!!

4.Blushers
I have not tried their cream blushes so this will just be about the powder blushers! I only have a few of these but from the ones I have got I am very very happy. Like the lipsticks these are only £1. When I first used these I applied quite a generous amount as I thought the pigmentation wouldn't be great but god was I wrong! Have a light hand when you apply these as the colours are very bright and that translate right onto the skin. These are great and the shades they have are all really pretty.

5. BB Cream
Finally BB cream, now I wasn't 100% sure whether to include this as when I reviewed it the other day the review wasn't totally positive. But after much thought I decided that I do really like this product. Over the last week or so I seem to have rediscovered this and when applying it with my beauty blender it blends amazingly. Days where I don't have many blemishes this is the BB cream I find myself reaching for.

And some special mentions...
These are two products that I have heard really good things about but not yet tried. The Pro Matte Complexion Primer and the Pro Base Fixing Mist have both been raved about by so many people, like I said I have not tried these but after all this talk of MUA I think I shall be purchasing them as soon as I can. If any of you have tried these products let me know??

So that is my top 5 products, I am not sure which brand I will be doing next so if you have any suggestions comment below. Also what are your top 5 MUA products? Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!!

Fashionista Palette

From Left to Right, Berry Brown, Spring Day, Private Fitting and Exclusive Collection

Whilst browsing through Dizzy Brunette 3's blog a couple of weeks ago I stumbled across her post called the Corrie Palette. Intrigued I read the post and was really excited! She was lucky enough to have a palette made for her from Fashionista which had specially picked shadows just for her. This made me want my own palette very very much! Within 30 minutes of reading the post I was on the website creating my own.

In total, including P&P, it came to £9.95 which I think is quite reasonably priced. I picked this super pretty and sleek red palette and then filled it with 2 shimmery coloured shades and 2 double baked colours. Picking colours online can be be a bit risky so I had a nervous wait until my palette arrived, luckily though all the colours I picked I love. The 2 shimmery shades are called Berry Brown and Spring Day. Berry Brown has now probably become my favourite eyeshadow EVER! This is great for blending into the crease and looks lovely blended with the 2 double baked shadows. The other 2 colours I got were Exclusive Collection and Private Fitting. These are both absolutely stunning colours!! They are both similar but Private Fitting is much more darker and coppery .These are both awesome colours and are great together as well as on their own!

All of these shadows are so pigmented and don't feel chalky at all. I also really love the actual palette itself, the size is great for travelling and it is super easy to just chuck in your bag when you are on the go! If your own palette sounds like something you would want you must check out the website! Not only can you get eyeshadows but bronzers and blushes are also available to add to your palette! I am sure I will be using all these shades for a very long time so watch out for it in posts to come!

Would you want your own palette? Leave a comment down below! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!

My Make Up Starter Kit (All Products Under A Tenner)

Rimmel, Maybelline, Barry M, L'oreal and Collection!! The drugstore is full of low cost but great quality brands who have so so many products to choose from! So when it comes to getting together a basic make up kit you are absolutely spoilt for choice, but I have managed to narrow the hundreds of products down to what I think is the essentials in anyones make up starter kit. I haven't mentioned lip products in this post at all because picking one was just too hard so what I'm going to do is top 10 drugstore lip products post instead! So let's go...

Now to start a base, before putting on any make up I like to apply a primer. This makes your skin look generally smoother and nicer, zs well as keeping your make up in place all day. My
current favourite is Garnier 5 Sec Perfect Blur (£8.66), I did a full review of this the other day so you can check that out if you want to know more . Now onto your BB cream or Foundation. I have included one of each to keep everyone happy. For days where my skin is looking great I will always use a BB cream and out of all the ones I have tried the Garnier BB cream (£6.66) is my stand out winner. The coverage is really nice and light, feeling almost like you are wearing nothing, but at the same time covers up any imperfections just the right amount. BB creams are a dream in summer so make sure you have one! My winning Foundation has to go to an oldie but a goodie and it is Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (£9.99). This Foundation is literally one of the best I have ever tried from the drugstore! It is medium coverage (which is great for me) and creates a dewy finish. This Foundation is so reasonably priced but also so amazing, if you have never tried it firstly why? and secondly go get it, NOW!

After I apply my foundation/BB cream I conceal any blemishes that the base hasn't covered. For spots, red blotches and blemishes I love the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£3.99). This is a favourite for so many people and I am sure you have heard loads about it but it really is great. I love how creamy it is and it stays on for ages so you don't have to keep touching up! I do find this concealer to cakey for under my eyes though so instead I use the Maybelline Dream Lumi (£6.99), this is perfect for under eyes as it covers dark circles and brightens your skin. It is also great for highlighting. After all of that I finish it off with either a powder or a setting spray depending on how I'm feeling! My pick for powder is the Rimmel Clear Complexion Transparent Powder (£3.99), it sets make up beautifully but also doesn't leave your skin looking or feeling cakey. If I'm using a setting spray I would use the Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist (£8), this has a lovely rose scent and feels lovely on the skin. A couple of sprays at the beginning of the day leaves your make up in place for hours.

Next is onto my eyes. I would normally do my eyebrows now but I decided not to talk about eyebrow products because I am trying loads of new things out at the moment so watch this
space because there will probably be a post on eyebrows coming very shortly!! Anyway eye shadow, for this I did cheat because I picked two things but both have to be mentioned! So firstly my Sleek Colour Palette in The Original 594 (£7.99). I think sleek do some of the best colour palettes on the market, the shadows are super pigmented and all blend really nicely! If you don't like the colours in this palette check out their others, they are all great. Cream eye shadow wise my pick is the Maybelline Color 24HR Tattoos (£4.99), these are just amazing! All 3 of the ones I have are really pretty colours and are great either on their own or mixed with other colours. The only thing I would say about these is that you have to make sure you put the lids on really tightly as they dry out easily.

After eyeshadow comes eyeliner (which I am awful at applying) and again I cheated and picked 2! First is the Collection Gel Eyeliner in Black (£3.99), This is great for creating a winged look or just to line your top lashes. Again keep the cap on because this drys out easily. My other pick is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Sticks (£4.49), these are technically eyeshadows but I mostly use them for eyeliner, Bulletproof Beige looks great and makes your eyes look really big! So finally  mascara and I actually forgot to include a picture of this (sorry!!) but I did do a post on mascaras this week so if you want to know what my favourite drugstore mascaras are then go check that out now!!! HERE IT IS

Now for me these bits are the finishing touch to any look. Blusher and Bronzer make your skin look so much more radiant and healthy, I just can't get ready without them!! My favourite cream blush is the Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush in Pinched (£7.99). This pinky peach tone leaves a lovely flush of colour on your cheeks, I'm not sure how much I will be using cream blushers as we head into Autumn but whilst it is still Summer I love them. If you have oily skin (or just like powder blushers) The Rimmel Lasting Finish Mono Blush in Santa Rose (£3.99) might be better for you. This is a really nice coppery toned pink, I think this could be my favourite blush of all time!! And finally everyone loves that bronzed look and for me the best way to achieve that is with Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder (£6.99). I love this for creating a bronzed look and also for contouring!

So that is all!!! And I have done the maths (well used my calculator) to work out that all these products would cost you £103.18!!!!! Now that may seem like a lot but for some people this is all the make up they would need!

Phew!!! That seemed like a long post!! Hope you all enjoyed and thanks for reading!

Beauty Things I Suck At

I blog about beauty and make up every single day, so you would of thought I am an expert but unfortunately I am not and there is so many things I suck at!!!

Plucking/Looking After My Eyebrows-
As I've mentioned before I can be very lazy and this is one of those things that tends to slip out of my routine. I normally get my eyebrows threaded every 6-9 weeks, depending on how I am feeling but in that time some pesky hairs do grow back. When it comes to plucking it isn't just that I'm super lazy I am also really scared of the pain, I just can't inflict the pain of plucking on myself and therefore they normally go unplucked for quite a long while!! Luckily though I am quite fair so I don't end up with a mono brow or anything too Charlie from Busted like!!

Appling False Eyelashes-
Now everyone says this is really easy and simple but it just isn't!! I have tried to applying them so many times and I have never ever got them on properly! My last attempt was in fact by best, I ended up with 1 eye completely perfect and the other horrendous. So I am getting there but I think it will be a long time before I debut my false eyelashes!

Taking My Make Up Off Before Bed (sorry mum!)-
I know this is an awful one and one my Mum always shouts at me for but sometimes I just can't be bothered! I am most guilty of doing this after a night out when all I want to do is down a pint of water and get some sleep. I have made an effort recently to stop doing this but I'm not sure how long I will stick to it!!

Anyway I think I may leave it there before no one trusts my beauty knowledge anymore!! I would love to know what do you guys suck at so comment below and let me know! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading

Mascara Madness: My Pick Of Drugstore Mascaras

Walking into Boots and trying to find the perfect mascara for your budget can be very overwhelming, every brand has about a million different mascaras and frankly some of them just aren't up to scratch! So over the last couple of months I have done the hard work for you and tried out many different mascaras in order to find the best for you! So these 5 are my must have mascaras.

1. The Budget Buy- Maybelline Great Lash Mascara- £4.99
This was the first ever mascara I owned and I still buy it all the time! It isn't the best mascara in the world but it does the job. Your lashes look lovely and long but it doesn't add volume or fullness to them really! If you are just getting into make up or want a mascara to through in your handbag this is the one, and for £4.99 you can't really go wrong. I think part of my love for this is that it reminds me of being 15 again though!!

2. The I Can't Believe It's That Cheap- Collection Big Fake Ultimate Mascara- £5.99 (currently on offfer for £3.99)
This mascara is crazy cheap for how good it is. The wand is so thick, it volumizes your lashes amazing. This leaves your lashes thick and full, giving an almost fake lash effect. This is my must have mascara at the moment as it just leaves my lashes looking amazing. This is normally £5.99, which is so cheap for the quality but it is currently on offer at Superdrug for a stupidly cheap £3.99 I shall be running down there and stocking up as soon as I can!!

3.The Middle Of The Range- Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara- £7.99
I was surprised to like this one actually! The wand is a strange shape but it actually works really well. The thick end is perfect for applying mascara all over your lashes where as the thinner end is great for getting into the inner corner so you don't miss those one!! The formula of this I didn't like to start with but once it had been open for a couple of weeks it gets a little thicker and is must better!

4.The Beauty Blogger Favourite- Maybelline Volum Express Mascara Falsies- £7.99
I'm sure everyone has heard about the Falsies, it is a staple mascara for so many people and I love it to. But I think I love this variation slightly more!! the Volum Express just adds that little more volume to your lashes, and my lashes really need volume!! Unlike the Rimmel mascara the formulation of this is great from the beginning, I would say that it does dry up quite quickly though (especially if you sometimes leave the lid half one, whoops!) so don't expect it to last for ages but it is a really really good mascara!!

5. The Pricey Drugstore One- No7 Stay Perfect Mascara- £12.75
Now I have only had this one for a couple of weeks but it is one I really wanted to include. This has a much more natural finish than the others, it doesn't really volumise the lashes but it does length but the thing I love about this the most is the staying power. With some of the others I feel that it rubs onto my skin (especially in the summer) and I end up with highly unattractive panda eyes. But with this, it isn't problem. The brush is also slightly different because it is plastic. This mascara is quite new I think so I would be really interested to see what you guys have to say about it if you have tried it?

and a special mention.....
I don't think I could do a mascara post without mentioning this one. The Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara is honestly a life saver! The tiny wand makes it really easy to apply to your bottom lashes and once this is on it just doesn't budge. This is slightly pricey though but I do think it is worth every 1200 pennys it costs!! (that's £12 by the way)

What are your favourite mascaras? Is there any I must try? Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading.

Battle Of The Hot Cloth Cleansers

Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser (£4.99) VS. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (£14.75)

As I have said a million times I love love love drugstore products but every so often I do give in and treat myself. I think looking after your skin is really important so I will spend a little bit more on skincare if I think it is really going to help my skin. In the last year or so I have discovered hot cloth cleansers and they are now definitely my favourite cleansers ever. These two are probably my favourite and luckily one is higher end and one drugstore, so lets see if splashing the cash is really worth it!

Both of these have a similar texture in that they are super creamy and soft. I personally like the texture of the Liz Earle one slightly more as it feels slightly more creamy and nourishing than the Superdrug cleanser. Both of these leave my skin feeling clean and nourished all night, which is what you need from a cleanser. These both apply really nicely and when I massage them into my skin they stay lovely and creamy.

For me the one thing that puts me off the Liz Earle cleanser is the smell. I'm sure for some people the smell is fine or even nice but I really don't like it. It is rosemary scented and in my opinion that just isn't a fragrance I want on my face! On the other hand Superdrug Vitamin E cleanser smells amazing! It doesn't actually say what the scent is and reading the ingredients I can't pinpoint what the amazing smell is but something smells great!!

Overall I feel like both of these products do really work and it is so hard to pick a favourite but I do the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser just steals it. Yes, I do hate the smell but I can look past that as the cleanser itself is amazing! My skin has felt 100 times cleaner and softer since I started using this. If though splashing out nearly £15 on a cleanser isn't your thing the Superdrug one is a great dupe and one that is almost as amazing. So for this one splurging is the way forward!

Remember these are just my opinions so you may love one that I don't. What cleansers do you use? And what are your thoughts on these 2? Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!

Baby Lips Joy

Some of you may have read my desperate plea last week for help finding the new Maybelline Baby Lips which I had been unable to locate anywhere near me and luckily whilst I was visiting my friend I found them and purchased 4!! I haven't had these long enough to properly review them so I thought I would just tell you my first impressions and show you some pictures of them.

As well as purchasing all 3 of the coloured balms, Pink Punch, Peach Kiss and Cherry Me, I picked up the Hydrate balm. These is 2 other balms available Mint Fresh and Intense care. My first impression from all of these was that the smell is fabulous! They all have a lovely sweet fruity scent which I completely adore but I was a little scared that these would lack pigmentation!!  But (thank god) my fear was short lived because as soon as I swatched them I feel in love. These are so balmy but also do have fairly good colour pay off. As expected Hydrate is really hydrating and nourishing on the lips, I think it will be great for applying in the morning and before lipstick to prevent dry lips. The other 3 are also just as nourishing but also leave such a pretty colour on your lips. Don't expect these to be super pigmented as they really aren't but what they do leave is a super pretty glossy colour on the lips which is perfect for day time.

So I'll stop rambling and show you them swatched!! This obviously isn't a full review but I will probably talk about them more in the next couple of weeks.

Over the last couple of days I have used these loads so I would really suggest trying them if you haven't already. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!

MUA BB Cream Review

As you can see this is very well loved!
On one of my many Superdrug trips over the last months I picked up this BB cream to add to my already extensive collection. I have owned this for about 6 weeks now so I feel I have used it enough to give it a pretty good review, so here goes!

I have this in the colour Light Rose, which is the 2nd lightest in the 8 colour selection. My initial first impression was that I really didn't like this at all! It tends to feel quite sticky on your skin for a good 10 minutes after you apply it, which I really really can't stand. This did almost immediately put me off this but because I had heard some good things I decided to persist, and I am really glad I did.

One layer of this does provide quite light coverage but it is super buildable so would be great for people with acne and people with perfect skin (if those people exist). It applies really easily and blends into the skin nicely, like I said it does feel quite sticky so I normally wait a few minutes after application before I put on the rest of my make up. Like most BB creams it leaves a super pretty dewy finish which I think is perfect for this time of year.

Overall I am very torn by this product, for £4 the standard of this is quite impressive but the stickiness of it does put me off quite a lot! I have quite the selection of drugstore BB creams and this is probably ranked somewhere in the middle. I would suggest you guys try this if you are interested though as it is a good cheap product! MUA have impressed me quite a lot recently and later this week I shall be doing a post on the best of MUA so make sure you check that out to see if these features at all!!

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading

A Purple Post

This a new series I am going to start doing which involves every other Sunday picking a colour and talking about all my favourite products which are that colour! So today I am going to be talking about Purple. When I first came up with this idea I thought it would be super easy to think of Purple products but it was actually really hard! I have managed to gather 4 things that are all Purple and are also things I really really love, so lets get started!!

H and M Nail Varnish in Misty Lilac
I haven't had the best experience of these nail varnishes in the past. I have found although they have really pretty colours the actual formulation isn't very good and it tends to chip really really easily. When I found this beautiful soft lilac colour I had to buy it though! I have used this probably 5 or 6 different types now and I have to say the formulation is a lot better than I remember. It goes on really nicely and if you make sure to apply a top coat you will get a couple of days wear out of this before it begins to chip. The formulation of this isn't as good as most other nail varnishes I own but I think this colour is just too pretty to not wear.

Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy in Satellite
When I first heard of these a couple of months back I was really really intrigued and couldn't wait to try them out. I only have it in this colour Satellite but I would definitely get some more. I think this deep plum colour is beautiful, it isn't the most summery colour but as we head into Autumn I know I will be wearing this all the time. The glitter is really nice as well and although they obviously come as a kit I do use the glitter end on top of others colour. You do need to put 2 or 3 coats of the glitter on for it to look really nice in my opinion but after that the effect is just lovely. I think this probably my favourite Purple nail polish I own.

Rimmel Lipstick in Starry-Eyed
Now I am not completely sure purple toned lipsticks suit me but I really hope they do as I love them. My friend has this lipstick and when I borrowed it once I feel so in love I had to buy my own. This is a really lovely purpley maroon colour, it is quite dark so I'm not 100% sure it suits my pale complexion so when I do use it I only apply a little and add some gloss over the top. If like me you are a bit scared about darker lipsticks I think this a perfect one to start out with.

Denman Teasing Comb
I'm not sure if this is cheating or not but the comb itself is purple! This is literally my favourite hair product I own. I quite thin lifeless hair and it always need more volume and this is just perfect for adding volume to my roots. It is great for back combing but it is also really good for brushing out knots and tangles. I think this a must have for any who likes big voluminous hair. Also the size is perfect for just chucking in your clutch on nights out!

So that is all of my favourite Purple items. Next time I shall be talking about all my lovely Coral things (coral is by far my favourite colour). What purple products do you guys love?

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!

Random Haul- Topshop and Boots

My name is Laura and I am a shopoholic! I admit it I have an addiction, I just can't go to a shop without buying something and my latest shopping trip wasn't much different. At the moment I am not that into buying clothes, I'm much preferring accessories and of course make up. This isn't a massive haul but I thought I would show you a few bits I got.

Topshop Bracelet- £3.50, Topshop Monochrome Bow-£3.50, Natural Collection Blusher-£1.99

Firstly I headed to Topshop where I bought a few items. I headed straight to the sale Jewellery (I'm trying to save money) and I immediately picked up this super cute spiked floral bracelet. This is very similar to a bracelet I mentioned in a summer essential post. The bracelet I talked about in that I sadly lost so this was a sort of replacement for that. Also at the moment I am loving spikes and florals so this was a must have purchase! I love the cute coral flowers and I'm sure I will get loads of wear from this.

Next was hair accessories, and I have been looking for a hair bow for ages. I have always been a fan of monochrome so this was just perfect. Since buying it I have realised it is actually quite large but I am persisting with it! If anyone has any fun ideas for how I should wear this please do let me know?

Topshop Skater Dress- £20

This cute skater mint dress I have been eyeing up for ages and when I saw it was on sale I had to buy it! I love the lace detail over the top half and although it looks see through, it really isn't which I like. The colour of this dress is just lovely and I cant wait to wear it. I'm thinking of teaming it with a leather jacket and ankle boots??

Now my final item and it is Make Up. I went into Boots and I only walked out with one thing, for me that is a massive achievement! At the beginning of summer I was loving cream blushes but in recent weeks I have found myself picking my powder ones more and more. And out of all my blushers my Natural Collection ones are my favourites. I picked up this super pretty barbie pink colour called Pink Cloud. I used this colour the other day for the first time and absolutely loved it. The colour is really lovely and it also doesn't feel to powdery which I really like! I am really loving these blushers at the moment and I'm sure I will purchasing so many more and for £1.99 they are amazing value for money.

So that is it for my mini haul, I know it wasn't much but I thought I would share it with you. . Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading
