La Roche Possay Effaclar Duo + 10 Day Update

I thought I would do my review for this a little different than my other reviews. I decided to pick this up after reading so many good reviews online and also hearing from friends how good it is! So to be honest I was expecting amazing things from this thing and to really see a difference in my skin and that is why I am going to do a 3 step review. First this one, after 10 days, then after  a month and then after I have finished my first tube (not sure what order these 2 will be in). I think that way it will be really helpful for anyone who is really considering get this.

My skin before I started using this!
So when I first bought this my skin was in a really good way. I didn't have any spots really, a few red patches but that was about it. The main thing I want to achieve from using this is even skin tone, reduced redness and clear non spotty skin (is that too much to ask? I think not). On  the packaging it says that after 24 hours imperfections will look visibly less red and that after 8 days localised imperfections appear significantly reduced. All sounds very promising so far! I am not going to lie in 24 hours I didn't see any difference at all, maybe my skin looked mildly less red but I'm not 100% sure. I wasn't really bothered by this because I know when it comes to skin care you really do have to wait and persist in using things to get results. My only initial problem with this is the smell! I hadn't noticed it at first but after my friend pointed it out to me that it smelt like bathroom cleaner (a lemony clean smell) I really started noticing it! I guess it isn't the worst smell but it isn't your typical skincare smell.

My breakouts on Day 3
Ok so day 3 I woke up and I had broken out really bad! I had lots of little under the skin spots around my eyebrows and then a really nasty spot on my chin. Again I wasn't too concerned by this, I think breaking out would have really scared some people but sometimes things have to get worse before they get better! This is suppose to unclog your pores so I'm guessing my breakout was it getting all the nasty stuff out from my pore! On day 8 of using this I also got my period so I don't know if that maybe had something to do with my breakout as well?

I have now been using this for 10 days now and I have to say I do really like it! Breakouts normally take ages to clear up on my skin but after less than a week all my little spots have gone away. Overall I still haven't seen all the changes this promises but I am very excited to keep using this and see how it goes!!

Hope this little review was fairly helpful for you guys, I am staying on the topic of skincare over the next couple of days and sharing my skincare routines with you all so make sure you come back to check that out! Please give me a follow on Bloglovin to make sure you don't miss any posts! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Batiste Dry Styling XXL Plumping Powder Review

I love a good dupe. The excitement of finding something cheap that is the same as a more expensive product is just the best! Now this is how I felt when I stumbled across this little container in Superdrug. I have been lusting over the Bumble and Bumble Pret A Powder for too long now but at £21.50 I just can't bring myself to splurge on it just yet. So when I found this for like 1/10 of the price I have to admit at first I was very excited, that excitement was very short lived though...

My first time using this can only be described as horrific, it literally made my hair sticky!! How you ask? I don't have a clue! I could have maybe dealt with it being sticky if it had given me some volume as well but it did not. My hair was just left sticky and flat, not a good look I can tell you. The beauty girl I am though I didn't stop there and decided to jump on the internet and read some reviews, see if I was doing something wrong. Most of the reviews were pretty bad but I did find a few that basically said try using hardly any and it will really work.

So I left it a couple of days and tried again, this time literally using the smallest amount, still no volume. My hair didn't end up sticky this time, which I guess is a good thing? But it just didn't do anything, my hair literally looked exactly the same as before I had used it. All of the reviews do say use a tiny amount but I'm not sure how much a tiny amount is? Now I think maybe I am not using enough? aahh!! hair care shouldn't be this much work.

If you can't tell already I don't really like this at all. I will say this might be me, maybe I am using too much but I just can't get on with this. I am going to hold on to this so please if anyone has used this tell me if I am going wrong because I do really want to like this! I am off now to go to do some retail therapy, non beauty shopping of course! Come back tomorrow where I shall be giving my 10 day review of Effaclar Duo +, if you follow me on Bloglovin you will not miss a post so make sure to do that! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

What Is In My Travel Beauty Bag

A week today I am headed off on a much needed girls holiday with some of my best friends and I couldn't be more excited! I have just started getting some bits together so I thought I would give a little sneaky look into what beauty related items I am taking. I am definitely trying to pack quite light and as I went away recently I am learning from experience and only taking the things I know I really need (which seems like everything to me!)

So I haven't included sun cream because I don't really have one sun cream that I think is the best because it is quite expensive I tend to get whichever one is on offer! This use to be the same with after sun but after trying these 2 after suns out I shall never use another one!! The Hawaiian Tropics Silk Hydration After Sun is hands down the best smelling product ever! It is a lovely tropical fruit smell which lingers on your skin for ages. Apart from the awesome smell this is actually a really good after sun, you can really feel it cooling and hydrating your skin. This also helps prolong your tan which is a lovely added bonus! My other after sun of choice is the Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel. Much to my boyfriends disgust I kept this in the fridge on my last holiday to make it lovely and cold to put on your warm skin, worked very well! I tend to use this when I can see my skin is visibly burnt, I feel like this works slightly better than the Hawaiian Tropics one at really soothing your skin. Both are absoloutely awesome though so they will both be coming away with me.

For me coconut is the smell of holiday, so I could not go away without some lovely coconut smelling products. For body wash you can't go wrong with the Radox Coconut Kiss Shower Cream. I love shower creams because they feel a little bit more luxurious than a shower gel and as for the smell of this!! Woah, amazing, I just love coconut! Now because the body wash just isn't enough to stem my coconut obsession, I also have the Body Shop Coconut Body Mist. I love these body mists, the smell of them are all so fruity and lovely ( I use the mango one loads) and when I saw they had a coconut one I couldn't say no! The smell of this doesn't last for ages but as it is only a body mist I am not too disappointed about it, you can just keep reapplying.

Finally onto my face. I really want to try and protect my face this holiday so I have decided to use the La Roche Possay 50+ Anthelios XL Tinted Cream. This is a tinted moisturiser with a masssive 50 SPF in it. I wanted to get a tinted moisturiser because my skin isn't in the best way at the moment and I don't want to be completely naked around the pool! I used this when I went away before and was really happy, it gives a good amount of coverage and is also fairly water proof. If you are really pale this may not be great though because it does come out slightly orange! My last thing is just something I stumbled across when having a little clear out and it is the Body Shop Vitamin E Sink In Moisture Mask. This is just a little one use sachet of mask but I thought it would be nice just to chuck in my suitcase in case my skin needs an extra moisture kick. After being in the sun sometimes my skin can feel really dry and gross so I thought this might come in handy for days like that!

So that was a little look at what I will be putting in my suitcase for this holiday! I am getting so excited now, I just can't wait to be sat round a pool sipping a cocktail!! Hope you found this interesting please give this blog a follow on Bloglovin. I will be back tomorrow with a review of a product I have recently discovered from Batiste. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Feeling Cheeky; My Favourite Summer Blushers

I am definitely a lip product girl. I literally hoard lipsticks and whenever I see a pretty new shade I buy it but recently my love for all things lip related has dwindled and I have found myself thinking all about the beauty of the blusher! It is fair to say I have a fair few blushers now and I thought I would share my favourite ones for this time of year. Some of them are new and some old favourites but I will try and find the links for all of them below in case you want to get your hands on them!

Collection Shimmer Shades in 2 Blushalicious
This is an old favourite but one I tend to lean for all the time, especially in summer. This blush quad is made up of 4 lovely colours, all very wearable on their own, but what I do is just rub my brush around and use all 4. Combined this creates a lovely bright pink colour which looks awesome on the cheeks. This stuff comes out fairly pigmented so a light hand is needed with this!

Benefit Coralista
Everyone loves this blusher and I am no different! This is just such a beautiful colour, it has the perfect amount of coral and peach tones without being orangey. I only have a little 3g sample of this but when it runs out I will be purchasing the big one! This leaves your cheeks looking so glowy and lightly flushed, great when you have a tan!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in 010 Santa Rose
This is really an old one! I think I have had this for like 3 years? Which is probably far too long but it is simply amazing! I think this is probably one of my favourites blushers ever. It is a really nice coral blush but with a pretty pink tone as well. This warms up your cheeks and gives you that summer glow. I think this is a product that has fallen seriously under the beauty blogger radar so I really really really recommend you go check this out!

Natural Collection Blusher in Pink Cloud
As brands go Natural Collection is not one to write home about but when it comes to their blushers it is a complete other story! I have 5 or 6 of them and they are all fantastic, really pigmented and long lasting, this has to be my fav though. This is a true pink blush which just gives life to your cheeks. This doesn't go onto your skin bright pink so don't use it cautiously, just go for it!

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Stereo Rose
Now unfortunately this is a limited edition product so unless you check out Ebay you probably won't be able to get your hands on it but I had to put it in here because it is so pretty!! I guess this is technically a highlighter but I think the rose gold colour makes it perfect for a blush/highlighter mix. I use this all the time, some times just on its own and other times on top of a more matte blusher to just add some extra glow. I am completely obsessed with rose gold at the moment and I think it is because of this blusher.

ELF All Over Color Stick in Pink Lemonade
I thought I would sneak this in the end as something a little different. When it comes to the hotter months cream products become my best friend because powders just feel far too heavy and this is just a great example of an awesome cream product. This is supposed to be multi purpose so you can use it as a blusher and also as a lipstick (which I have tried and don't overally like). I like to apply this straight from the stick then blend it out with brush for a lovely sheer glimmer of colour.

So that is a little look into what I am enjoying rubbing on my face blusher wise. What are you guys loving on the blusher front at the moment? Follow me on Bloglovin, link below and to your right, and come back over here tomorrow for a look at what I am packing for my holiday for Greece next week! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

P.S- I found the Rimmel Santa Rose blusher online but the picture didn't look the same as the one I have, so I am not sure if they have changed the names? or if it was just a bad picture!

Lola Make Up by Perse Review

I banged on about it for long enough but just in case you don't know I recently went on holiday to Lanzarote. I was having a great time but when I stumbled across a new make up shop my holiday got a whole lot better!! I had resisted purchasing anything at duty free so decided I was allowed to buy a few little things!! The brand I was most intrigued by was called Lola and I had never heard of it before so thought it wasn't available in the UK. Turns out they actually sell it in Marks and Spencer's but after doing a little googling I still couldn't find many reviews on the products so I have decided to do some of my own!

One thing that I really do like about this brand is the packaging, it is very sleek and makes it look more expensive than it is. The prices varied from €9 for a lipstick/lipgloss to €14.95 for the blush/bronzer duo. I'm not really sure what that is converted to pounds but I'm guessing it is priced at the upper end of the drugstore, similar to Soap and Glory for example. One of the things I don't like though is that not all of the products had names, most just had shade numbers. I'm a girl who loves a good make up name so this did actually put me off slightly.

The first product I was immediately drawn to was this lovely Blusher Duo in 001. This duo contains a nice matte bronzer and a beautiful peachy pink shimmery blush. I decided to pick this up because it reminded me slightly of a Nars duo which contains Laguna and either Deep Throat or Orgasm blusher. My one concern with this duo is that in the pan the bronzer looks very dark but actually after swatching and then using it on my face it isn't too dark at all. I think out of the duo I prefer the blusher as the bronzer is slightly too orange for my skin but I think it will be better when I have a tan again. The blusher however is absoloutely stunning and when I use this I tend not to need a highlighter as well because I think the shimmer in this is just enough. Overall I am really happy with this duo, it wasn't too expensive and I know that I will get use out of both the blusher and bronzer.

I also was really drawn to this beautiful pink lipstick, 016 Dream Like. I don't really know how to describe this colour but I guess it is like a baby pink with silver glitter running through it. That makes it sound horrible, but I really like it! The texture of this is lovely and it just glides on your lips feeling lovely and moisturising. Compared to some of the other lipsticks I swatched in store, this felt a lot nicer. This is from there Ultra Shine range so it looks lovely and glossy on the lips, a look I am loving at the moment. The lipstick itself is slightly sheer but I think the amount of colour you get is just perfect. The wear on this is really good as well, I would say it lasts a good 4 hours before you feel like you need to reapply. Again I am really happy with this product and I can see myself using this lipstick loads, especially over summer!

I am very interested to try more from this brand and I hope this maybe gave you guys some inspiration to try it out! Have any of you heard of it? Recommend me anything else to try? I will see if I can find links for the products and put them at the bottom. Make sure to follow me on Bloglovin and come back tomorrow for a post all about summer blushers. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Disappointing Products #1

As a make up addict I end up buying a fair amount of make up and beauty items and whilst most of the time I love what I buy every so often I get a few crap things. I tend to do a bit of research into make up before I make a purchase, especially when it comes to high end products, but even then some things do not live up to expectations. So here is a little look at some products that haven't really floated my boat!

Make Up Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights
I was so excited when I first got this because in the packaging it looks absolutely stunning! Even after I swatched it I was really happy and couldn't wait to try it out but when you put it on your face the beauty just doesn't translate. To even see any kind of colour on your skin you have to put loads of this on and then it starts to look cakey. I still have this in my make up collection because I'm not quite ready to chuck it away but it's fair to say it wasn't the sensation I was hoping for!!

Benefit Sunbeam
don't really know what good things to say about this? I am normally a massive Benefit fan and I love High beam but something about this just doesn't sit well with me! This is suppose to be a lovely bronzey highlighter but when I apply it I can barely even notice it on my skin!  Luckily I only have a tiny sample size of this because I have barely used and don't have any intention to use it again!!
Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation 16HR
think I purchased this last summer when it seemed like everyone was talking about and loving this thing and so did i to start with but over time me and this foundation really feel out. I'm not really sure what about this I don't like because colour wise it is almost perfect, better than most my other foundations, but there is just something about the way this looks on me that I don't like. This also isn't as high coverage as it claims and doesn't wear terribly well, it definitely is not 16 hour!!

Bourjois Lip Crayon Peach On The Beach

My problem with this is definitely a colour thing because I have loads of the other shades  and love them! I am normally a massive fan of peachy coral coloured lip products but the colour of this just isn't flattering with my skin. It isn't really peach enough and kind of washes me out. Does anyone else have this problem?

Revlon Lip Crayon in Rendezvous

Again a massive fan of these in general but this has just become one of those products that I never reach for. The colour of this is really pretty and I love the way it feels on my lips but I just never mind myself reaching for this and it has slowly sunk to the bottom of my lip product pile because I just have better products.

Rimmel Apocalips

Where do I start with these? When these first came out everyone was talking about these and I couldn't wait to get my hands on them. I thought all the colours were lovely and the 3 I have are beautiful colours but I just never use these because they are so good damn hard to apply!! The applicatior seems to hold loads of product and when I apply these I just get so messy and it doesn't look cute at all!! I don't know if anyone else has this problem? But for me it has really put me off them unfortunately.

So onto happier things now!! I don't like talking about products I don't like but some times you just need to vent about things that have let you down!! What products have disappointed you lately? I'm really proud to say that I have finally got myself into a good routine and seem to have got into the flow of blogging more recently as I've been posting everyday. Make sure to follow me on Bloglovin so you never miss a post, enjoy the rest of your weekend, I have just finished work so I'm going to have a relaxing pamper Sunday night. Make Up Revolution Palette Haul

When make up revolution first launched I placed a very small order and purchased just a few things to try out. Out of the 3 products 2 were awesome and one was disappointing (look out for that product in tomorrow's blog post) so when I saw they had some new palettes out I couldn't resist checking them out. I ended up getting 5 palettes at £6 each, 2 eyeshadow palettes, 2 blush and contour palettes and 1 concealer palette. So without further ado let's talk palettes!

Ultra Cover and Concealer Palette in Light- Medium
This palette contains  8 shades of concealer which I would say are on the lighter side of light to medium. I have wanted a concealer palette like this for ages, I previously got one from ELF but it didn't live up to expectations and only features 4 quite similar shades. I think this will be awesome for concealing everything from blemishes to dark circles but also will be fun when trying to contour like Kimmy K.

Ultra Blush Palette in Sugar and Spice
This again contains 8 shades and I have to say I think I love every single one! All the shades are quite bright and pink toned with an almost white baked highlighter to complete the line up. All of the colours are pretty matte and range from bright pinks to bronzey colours with one baked blusher to match the highlighter. The pink colours in this palette are so bright but I am very excited to have a play around.

Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice
As before 8 shades this time all beautifully coral toned colours. The highlighter and one blush are again baked but this time there are 4 shimmery colours which when I swatched them looked stunning. I'd say I like the other palette slightly more on first impression but after playing around with them both that could definitely change. I think I prefer the highlighter in this palette though because it has more of a pinky undertoned.

Dia De Los Muertos Eyeshadow Palette
This features a highly impressive 18 shades, 12 shimmery, 6 matte colours. This isn't probably the palette for girls who love a neutral look! I would say there are 10 shades that I would wear day to day but the other 8 are definitely brighter more colourful colours than you would want for everyday make up! I wanted to get this palette because I think it looks really fun and over the summer I have a few events coming up that I want to wear more colourful make up for! After first swatch my eye is on Redemption is Near, Affirmation, Live Life and There Is Always A Way Back.

What You Waiting For Eyeshadow Palette
Now to the complete other end of the eyeshadow palette spectrum with this neutral eyeshadow girls dream! I think every colour in this palette is just stunning! Some of the colours aren't dissimilar to those of the Naked 3 (May do a full comparison at a later date) and are going to be perfect for a smokey eye. I think some of my favourite shades are Now It's Only Me, Take A Chance, Stupid H... And Sex Chromosome.

I am sure you will be hearing more about all these palettes as I use them more and more. Have you guys picked up any of the new palettes? So that's it over for my last haul for a while! Please come back tomorrow where I am going to be a little Debbie Downer and talk about some disappointing products, follow me on Bloglovin so you don't miss that. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Non Beauty Favourites

Now when it comes to sharing stuff on this blog it is normally very make up and beauty related but for once I fancied talking about non beauty related things. So here is a little look at my non beauty favourites of the month!

Netflix
I have been addicted to Netflix recently. My boyfriend has had a netflix subscription for ages and we also watch stuff together and cheekily I also use it on my laptop. For ages I just didn't really watch much on there though, instead spending my time watching YouTube videos! But now Uni is over for the year I have a little bit more time on my hands and netflix seems to be filling up that time. It amazes me how many films and tv programmes they have on there and I always feel spoilt for choice but some stuff I have loved watching lately is Ru Paul's Drag Race and Orange Is The New Black. Ru Paul's Drag Race is basically America's Next Top Model for Drag Queens and is as fabulous and camp as it sounds! I have powered my way through every season on Netflix and I am utterly addicted!! I'm sure you have all heard of or watched Orange is the new black but I am a little bit behind (half way through season 1) but so far I am loving it! It has me laughing hysterically and I can't wait to watch more!

Iced Coffee
Now this is a weird one but recently I have been on an iced coffee hype! Whenever I head to Costa or Starbucks I always order a skinny iced latte because they are just so good! I have tried making them at home and although they are not quite as good it is keeping my addiction in check! A Starbucks is opening literally 3 mins from my house next week and I can only imagine how much time I will be spending there!!

iPad mini!
Now this is only a very recent favourite because I only got one on Wednesday but I literally love it!! My very generous Mum and Dad kindly bought me it and I am still pinching myself that I actually have one but I do and I can't put it down! I insistently downloaded the kindle app so I have already got a good book on the go (Will Grayson Will Grayson by John Green) and have downloaded all my blogging apps as well. I am not great with technology but it is so easy to use and I'm so excited to play around with it more. I am even using it to write this post!

Brighton's Big Screen
Now if you don't live in or around Brighton you may not have heard of this but basically there is a massive screen on Brighton beach for the next month or so and it is great! It is free to watch and is showing loads of films as well as all all the World Cup games! Me and my boyfriend went down there to watch the first match, Brazil v Croatia, and it was so much fun! There is food and drink down there, which is fairly expensive, but it is so amazing and I would suggest you go and check it out if you can but the atmosphere for the football is good.
So that is all my non beauty favourites for the mo, I quite enjoyed writing this so I will probably include some more random favs in my beauty monthly favourites! Make sure to give my blog a follow on Bloglovin and follow me on Instagram if you fancy being a little nosey! Come back tomorrow for my final haul for a couple of months!! (I'm on a spending ban, check out yesterday's post). The haul features some lovely new palettes from Make Up Revolution so be sure to look out for that! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Girl, Are You Crazy?? My Shopping Ban

I am without a doubt a beauty addict. I walk past a beautiful looking lipstick, I have to have it, see a new palette being released, I have to have it, hear about the best new foundation, I NEED IT! And whilst I love discovering new products and making that new beauty purchase my bank account hates me for it, a lot (and I don't think my mum approves much either). So after many tears (figurative tears, not real ones, yet!) and a lot of thought I have made quite a drastic discussion, I am not going to buy ANY beauty products until September (consequentially when I get my student loan).

THE RULES

Basically I can't buy anything! No new body butters, blushers, highlighters, make up removers, anything beauty related I can't buy!!

But what about that lovely new bronzer? No! You have 6!

I have run out of my favourite concealer? You have about 4 from other brands, try something new!

But the Body Shop are releasing a new product? Girl! Wait until it goes on sale later in the year!!

So goodbye beauty shopping for me! I know this seems quite extreme for someone who writes a beauty blog because a fair few of my posts are hauls but I am going to have to use my imagination a bit more and come up with some fresh new ideas! I am going to let myself buy clothes still, don't worry I haven't gone completely crazy! But I am generally just going to try and cut down on my spending! What do you guys think of my shopping ban? and does anyone want to join me?

I will be posting 1 last haul post in the next couple of days from a pre shopping ban time so make sure you come back and check that out, so wish me luck and thanks for reading,

Dove Refresh and Care Dry Shampoo Review

Batiste quite literally owns it when it comes to dry shampoo. I think I have consistently used it since I was about 16 and have never been disappointed by it, until now! I have just felt that recently my hair hasn't really responded to Batiste so I have strayed away from my old favourite and found myself really liking this new little guy.

I am pretty sure someone either recommended me this or I read about this on a blog because I am not sure how else I would have stumbled across it, but boy am I glad I did. I think I purchased this from Superdrug in late March and my initially impression was god lord this is expensive! This is £4.59 for 100ml where as Batiste is about £2.99 for 200ml, I know under a fiver is still cheap but as a fairly poor student price is a big factor for me! I do however think it is worth the price and I will definitely be repurchasing this, especially if I see it on offer!

What I like about this so much is the smell! It has a lovely clean smell and does actually make your hair feel cleaner after using it, which I have found others don't do for me. This absorbs grease amazingly and leaves my hair looking cleaner and less greasy but doesn't leave your hair in anyway powdery or white, which is great for girls with darker hair.

This dry shampoo also acts as a good voluminser. I have said it before and I'll say it again my hair literally has no life or body to it and I completely hate it so any product that promises volume is a winner for me! This does actually create quite a lot of volume as well as acting as a dry shampoo which is a lovely added bonus!

I basically really like this dry shampoo! I am going to repurchase Batiste, just to try it out again but this little bottle of goodness is shifting forwards into my favourites basket! Anyway hope you enjoyed my little review here, make sure to follow me on Bloglovin and come back tomorrow for a look at my recent non beauty favourites. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Osbourne Collection at MAC

When it comes to a MAC collection I turn into a mad women and literally want to purchase all of it! My favourite collection this year so far has to be the Fantasy of Flowers collection which included the stunning Mineralise Skin Finish in Stereo Rose which is constantly in my make up bag but I think a new favourite may have just wandered into my life in the form of the Kelly and Sharon Osbourne Collection.

I went into my local MAC store the day this collection came out just for a little look at the products in person, I had already read so many reviews but wanted to give everything a little swatch and play with before deciding on what products I definitely wanted to buy. But as usual I lost control of my spending and ended up buying 2 little things! There are definitely a lot of things from this collection that I am still eyeing up (both the quads in particular) so this is just a little taster because I am sure I will be running back to MAC very soon.

I love the packaging for both the girls and because of this wanted to make sure I got something from both lines. From Kelly I finally decided on the Blusher in Cheeky Bugger.  This is a satin finish blush which goes on a pretty understated rosy peach colour. I love a bright pink blusher so I was initially drawn to Sharon's blusher in Peaches and Cream which is much brighter but I decided to try something slightly different and go for a softer one. I have already used this blusher loads and I like it a lot (more than when I first swatched it in the shop). I think it will look fab on loads of skin tones, especially fair skin, but will also look amazing on with a bit of a tan. The finish of this is really love and leaves your cheeks looking stained with colour and beautifully flushed. As for the rest of Kelly's line I am really interested in 2 of the lipsticks, Kelly Yum Yum, a bright blue toned pink and the lovely bright lilac Dodgy Girl. Her Bloody Brilliant Eye Shadow Quad is also one I am keeping my eye on.

Onto Sharon and I played it very safe by just picking up a Lipglass in Pussy Willow. Firstly the name? Is it suppose to be naughty, I don't really get it!! This is a lovely gold super glittery sheer lipgloss. I think I prefer the lilac packaging of Kelly's line slightly more but the red packaging is stunning as well! I mostly got this to wear over lipsticks because I am loving a shimmery glossy lip at the moment but over the last couple of days I have enjoyed wearing this just on its own. Last night I did wear this over MAC Plink!, and I think it looked really gorgeous. It doesn't look too gold on the lips which I like but still leaves them with a bit of colour and not just glitter! This, like all their lip products, smells and tastes like vanilla (AMAZING). Out of the rest of the Sharon line there isn't that many things I am drawn too, the Duchess Eyeshaow Quad is under strong consideration for purchasing as is the Blusher in Peaches and Cream. But apart from that I like the Kelly range a little bit more, I think it is more appealing for younger people where as I reckon my mum would love some of the lip colours in the Sharon range!

All this reviewing has made me want to run back to MAC to get more so excuse me, i'm off!! Be back here tomorrow for a look at my new favourite dry shampoo, hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

I was going to link some of the products I like from the collection below but it looks like a lot of it is already sold out online. So I would advise going in and seeing if there is still some bits in stock in your local store!

Tanya Burr Lips and Nails Review

I am a massive Tanya Burr fan, so when I found out she was releasing some make up I have to admit I was quite excited! I didn't purchase any of the products straight away as I wanted to wait until they were in stores so that I could see everything in the flesh before deciding on what bits I wanted. I started off getting just 1 of the lipglosses and 1 of the nail polishes and those are the ones I am going to talk about.

Lipgloss wise I was immediately drawn to Aurora, as you all know I a massive sucker when it comes to cute names and this one I definitely purchased based on the name, I love disney princesses and also aurora sounds like Laura! The packaging is nothing too special but it is sleek and functional. My first thought was how good the lipgloss smells! It has a lovely berry scent (and flavour if you lick your lips) and when applying isn't sticky at all. Aurora provides quite a lot of pigmented colour for a lipgloss and leaves the lips looking plump, glossy and a really nice pink colour. I have loved using this as a day to day lipgloss but it also looks amazing over lipsticks. My winning combination is this combined with MAC Chatterbox, this literally leaves your lips looking awesome!

On the nail polish front I choose to pick up the super cute Little Duck. I picked this up because I really wanted a duck egg blue nail polish which this colour really is. I first put this on with no base coat or top coat and disappointingly it did chip after just a couple of days. Second time round though and I used a base coat and top coat and the last power was much more impressive so that would be my recommendation for application. I used this colour on my toes for holiday and I was crazy impressed with how long it lasted! I think I retouched it once over the whole holiday which is fab considering that I was in and out of both the pool and sea.

Generally I have been fairly impressed with these products. Price wise these are middle of the range drugstore products but I would say the quality is slightly higher than the price which is of course amazing! I am very keen to try some more colours, especially in the lipgloss, what colours do you guys like? I know I am a bit late on the Tanya Burr train but better late than never!! Make sure to give my blog a follow on Bloglovin so you can keep up to date with  any new posts and come back tomorrow for a look at my new favourite MAC collection! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,
